The "standard fit" THX models feature a narrow  1" (25mm) shaft diameter with remote DC driver.  The "interchangeable" TIX models require a larger hole cut-out, however they feature a super flush bezel profile and integrated driver/LED array  for no-haul servicing and easy upgrading in the future.
